I am thrilled and honored to become a member of the Jacobs Road family and serve the children of this beautiful community as principal! The 2024-2025 school year will mark my 18th year in education. I am a graduate of the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, and the University of Virginia, where I received my Master's in Administration and Leadership. I joined CCPS as a world language teacher at Alberta Smith Elementary School, where I taught for 11 years. In 2018, I obtained my first administrative position as the Dean of Students at Elizabeth Davis Middle School. I then continued my journey in leadership as Beulah Elementary’s Assistant Principal for two years, followed by proudly serving as Marguerite Christian Elementary’s Associate Principal for the past three years.
In addition to my role as an educator, I am also a proud wife and mother. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and have resided in the Midlothian area since 2007. My husband Rodney and I have two children, Rodney and Diego. As a family, we enjoy playing and watching basketball, especially the LA Lakers and UVA Cavaliers, and love spending time with our French bulldogs, Domino and Nova. I look forward to introducing my family to the many wonderful people that call Jacobs Road “home.”
I am eager to partner with students, families, and the community in our #JaguarsJourneytoSuccess to continue the tradition of excellence at Jacobs Road Elementary! Please do not hesitate to reach out to me. You can call me at 804-674-1320 or email me at gilbani_feliciano@ccpsnet.net.
