Headshot of Principal

Gilbani Feliciano-Lugo, Principal

I am honored to continue serving the Jacobs Road family and leading the children of this wonderful community as principal! The 2026–2027 school year marks my 20th year in education. I am a graduate of the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, where I earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, and the University of Virginia, where I earned a master's degree in Administration and Leadership. I joined Chesterfield County Public Schools as a world language teacher at Alberta Smith Elementary School, where I taught for 11 years. In 2018, I began my administrative career as the Dean of Students at Elizabeth Davis Middle School. I then continued my leadership journey as Assistant Principal at Beulah Elementary School for two years, followed by the privilege of serving as Associate Principal at Marguerite Christian Elementary School for three years.

In addition to my role as an educator, I am also a proud wife and mother. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and have called the Midlothian area home since 2007. My husband, Rodney, and I have two sons, Rodney and Diego. As a family, we enjoy playing and watching basketball, especially cheering on the LA Lakers and the UVA Cavaliers, and spending time with our French bulldog, Domino.

I remain committed to partnering with our students, families, and community as we continue our #JaguarsJourneytoSuccess and build on the tradition of excellence at Jacobs Road Elementary. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I look forward to partnering with you throughout the school year. You can contact me by phone at 804-674-1320 or by email at gilbani_feliciano@ccpsnet.net.

Headshot of Brittney Boone

Brittney Boone, Assistant Principal

I am honored to serve the Jacobs Road Elementary School community as Assistant Principal. As a proud graduate of Chesterfield County Public Schools, it is especially meaningful to support students and families in the same school division that helped shape my own educational journey.

Over the past 15 years, I have served Chesterfield County Public Schools as a classroom teacher, STEAM teacher, and Behavioral Intervention Support Specialist. I earned my bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech, a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Radford University, and an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Virginia Tech.

My husband and I have two sons, Rowan and Walker, who keep us busy and laughing. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family, cheering from the sidelines at soccer games, visiting the Outer Banks, and watching Hokie football!

I believe every child deserves to feel valued, supported, and inspired to learn. Building strong relationships with students, families, and staff is at the heart of my work, and I am grateful to be part of the Jacobs Road community. I look forward to partnering with you to help every student learn, grow, and succeed. You can contact me anytime at brittney_boone@ccpsnetnet.
